i’m back!

Lunedì, Settembre 4th, 2006

Excuse me all for the long absence in this blog, but the summer was so full of events…
Now I’m at home.. in a relax day, after I drived all the night from Rome with Woody.
I was thinking to go to work this morning… but after just 3 hours in the bed, this morning I wasn’t able to wake up, so I took the phone trying to saying something with a bit of sense to my boss. I really don’t know what I said in these 3 minutes, just before coming back to coma until 14pm, but it seems that he understood that I wasn’t going to work today.
Now I’ve a long ToDo list, but I’ll be back soon and write about all the jamming summer!

rototom 2006

Giovedì, Giugno 15th, 2006

Woo Hoo!
After a long, long, long time, waiting email, writing email, waiting email,
finally the Rototom direction called me today and confirmed the date for the
second edition of Rototom Frisbee Freestyle Tournament!
I’m so happy, because the last year there were a lot of jammers, and all got good time in Rototom. This year the organization was full of problem, and they were thinking about stopping the tournament for this year. But at the end… we got it!

I’ve created 2 pages for infos about the Tournament :
English and Italian

vagolino 2006

Mercoledì, Giugno 14th, 2006

The Vagolino Tournament ended at 18pm with the usual massive jam. All things happened before are not simple to write down. If you’ve never lived a Vagolino, you can’t understand and you can’t miss Vagolino 2007. May be I’ll come back and write some words about this big event. For now that’s all. A big thanks to Piccio, Valentino, Grazia, Mes.

With a nice teamwork with Paolino(grazie!), I’ve uploaded the finals video:

  1. Mr.M & Piccio
  2. Clay & Fabio
  3. Gaddoz & Luca
  4. Paolino & Claudio
  5. Wall & Giò
  6. Manu & Alì

Lui and some flickr friend set up this nice pool of photos

fake nail’s life

Martedì, Maggio 30th, 2006

In a funny and interesting conversation with Reto, talking about fake nails and materials and dimension…
(I can’t forget John T saying: “fake nails are an interesting matter of discussion, instead of weather or something else, talk about fake nails with the people!”)
I discovered that he is still plaiyng with the same nails since 7 years ago!
In the beginning I was thinking it was a joke, but after a long discussion I started believing it.
My oldest fake nail is 3 month old! After that my fake nails became very ruined, not fast as in the beginning and I stop to use it. When Ricky ask me a fake nail, I give him one of these! :P I think it must depend on the material, but also on the size and where and how you use it.
I think that the beach is very damaging for disc but also for nails, but I think that Reto in 7 year did also some jams on the beach!
Reto uses an acrylic glass material, very hard to work, but very hard also to damage!
So, is it a good choice to use materials like Gautier’s style, or Yarnails style?

I’m thinking to a golden showcase for the Reto’s oldest fake nails, or do you have an oldest fake nail?

freestyle partners

Lunedì, Maggio 22nd, 2006

The Paganello ended more than one month ago, I promised to write something about it, but at the beginning I was really in trouble. This year the Paga was a strange experience for me. I like very much the Paga atmosphere, the parties, the big crowd, the red carpet…. and also this year Paga was fantastic. Also the players were great, there were a lot of new and good jammers, and I find it very stimulating for the freestyle scene. But my personal experience had another interesting theme this year… the partner. Read the rest of this entry »
